Calligraphy & Seal Cutting

Calligraphy and seal cutting formed an important part of my early artistic training. Both practices depend on the relationship between gesture, structure, rhythm, and material. I remain interested in how written form and carved marks can operate not only as language, but also as visual composition, texture, and identity.
