Biography

Art, architecture,
and the space between.

Huaming Wang is an artist and architectural designer whose practice moves between fine art, architecture, visualization, and spatial design. His work is shaped by an unusual combination of artistic training, construction knowledge, and architectural education.

Born and educated initially in China, Wang received a BFA in painting before studying construction engineering in the United States. He later completed both an MFA and a Master of Architecture at Kendall College of Art and Design. This multidisciplinary path has allowed him to approach architecture not only as a technical discipline, but as a visual and artistic practice.

His experience spans architectural design, high-end residential development, architectural visualization, landscape design, teaching, painting, and live art performance. His work has been exhibited in the United States and internationally, with recognition in both art and architectural design.

A connected practice

Creative Background

Wang’s creative foundation began with ink painting, calligraphy, drawing, and visual composition. That artistic training later expanded into landscape design, construction, architecture, digital visualization, physical model-making, and spatial storytelling.

Rather than treating art and architecture as separate disciplines, his work explores the territory between them — composition, proportion, material, light, atmosphere, structure, and human experience.

Whether working through ink, sketch, physical model, architectural space, or digital imagery, the underlying process remains consistent: observing, composing, testing, and refining an idea until it becomes visually and spatially clear.
